Fore!
My son decided golf should be the theme for his Grandpa's birthday "cake" this year. Sometimes cupcakes are much easier to serve during a family gathering than cake. Making the sandtrap was probably my favorite part!

This is my favorite creation for a beach themed party. Do I need to find a candy smaller than Dots???

All-American Cupcakes
I had the honor of making a special treat for a special young man. He was celebrating his high school graduation and will soon be entering the military. His mother asked for 80 cupcakes and after a few conversations this is what we came up with.
It's an Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie....
When is Summer going to get here? Urgh! I live in Germantown, not Seattle! (although, for the record, I would move to Seattle in a heartbeat!) I needed something to brighten up my day and decided a cookie on a stick might do the trick? And maybe creating a swim suit might make it feel more like summertime?
So here is what I came up with...an itsy bitsy, teenie weenie, yellow polka dot bikini. And of course, a little sunshine was needed as well.

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog.
My name is Stephanie and I have been a stay-at-home Mom for the past five years. Wow....time really does fly. My son will be going into Kindergarten in the Fall and I have a daughter going into 7th grade. I love to bake and make custom desserts. What do I mean by "custom"?
For years, my daughter has given me an elaborate description of the type of birthday cake she would like each year. Seeing the look on her face when she views the finished product is worth all the work. These requests obviously come from my son as well. I wish I had a dime (OK...maybe a quarter?) for every time I heard someone say, "You need to start a business!"
Well, the time has come. Sweet Custom Treats will create a delicious and adorable treat for any occasion, made to your exact specifications.
Are you a working parent? Your 2nd grader cant get 24 birthday cupcakes to school on the bus in one piece? No worries.....we deliver!
My blog will be a place where people can see projects I work on and get ideas for their own custom treat. All orders will be made to your exact specification. For me, it's a creative process- us working together to come up with a truly unique treat for your event.
