The Love Boat

OK...so maybe this isnt the Love Boat.  But it will be a cruise ship filled with love!  These cookies are placecards for a bridal shower.  The bride and groom will be getting married on a Carnival cruise.  The bride's sister sent me a picture of the bride's bouquet and the cupcakes match her flowers. 
Aahh...young love.  :)

Basketball Anyone?

Finally!! I get to make a sports-themed cookie for someother other than my son.  These basketballs were for a young man near and dear to my heart. 

An Idea for Next Thanksgiving

The holidays really did fly by and I was not very diligent about updating my blog!  I was baking away...
Here is a placecard cookie I did for several families for Thanksgiving.  It's a sweet little addition to any holiday table.

Happy Birthday to my Creative Director

I have a confession to make...all of  my "sweet" ideas arent necessary my own.  Many of them come from my beautiful, wonderful, talented, creative daughter Sarah.  I kinda like her...alot.  ;)

I'm always nervous when her birthday comes around. I think to myself, "how crazy is THIS year's cake going to be?" As she gets older, the ideas she has for her cake...how should I put this...mature.

Here is this year's cake. She drew a picture and all I did was make it. The cake topper is a cookie, per her request. Happy 13th Birthday Sarah!!
