It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!!

Fall is my favorite season and Halloween is my favorite holiday.  I love anything pumpkin flavored. I also love apples. I have an amazing recipe for apple cake.  I made it last week and am working on eating the entire thing all by myself.  The weather was cool and perfect for baking so I decided to do a test run of some Halloween cookies. I saw these on www.Lilaloa.blogspot.com and had to try them.  She is amazing!  I have lots of ideas for Halloween treats swarming around in my head....October 31st cant get here fast enough for me.

A Chocolate Cake for a Special Woman

So I asked my mother-in-law what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday.....I assumed chocolate but I thought I would be polite and ask. :)  I wanted it to be beautiful just like her. 

The cake became more chocolatey from bottom to top.
In my dictionary, "chocolatey" is an actual word.



The letters were made out of dark chocolate.
